Trauma Informed Providers

Amber Petch (she/her)- Administrative Assistant

Amber is a proud mother of two active children, a freelance artist, and finds joy in gardening and quiet moments with coffee and her husband on the porch.

She has first hand experience with birth trauma when she had an Amniotic Fluid Embolism during the birth of her second child, followed by an ICU/NICU stay, and surgeries. These experiences have given her a unique, trauma-informed perspective on the critical need for support services for families navigating similar journeys.

Since 2018 she has volunteered as a Family Mentor at the Grey Nuns Hospital, providing peer support to NICU families. Knowing firsthand that this journey is often long and difficult, she is passionate about supporting families through every stage of their healing process.

Amber is excited to join the RPTC family and contribute to an environment that offers empathy, understanding, and professional care for those dealing with reproductive and perinatal challenges!
